This paper describes an oil absorbing and room temperature quick curing adhesive.Results of experiments in its curing performance,oil absorption,shearing strength,simulation and use on the spot show that the adhesive has excellent performance and be effectively used to stick the surfaces together without need of clearing even if they are stained with gasoline or kero sene.It can find great use for stopping leaks or cracks or urgently mending etc.in petroleum,chemical,eletric power and other industries.
