一种新型冰川地貌——山岳冰川型蛇形丘

A New Kind of Glacial Landform: Mountain Glacier Esker

蛇形丘一般发育在大陆冰川地区,其成因主要是冰下隧道中冰融水流动携带的砂砾堆积填充而成,组成物质为砂砾。该文提出山岳冰川地区也有蛇形丘发育,并阐述其成因、组成物质结构、地理位置等与大陆冰川地区蛇形丘的不同。利用该类地貌的航空立体影像进行分析论证,为山岳冰川型蛇形丘的存在、成因、物质结构、地理位置提供依据。

Esker is the most important landform constituent of the glacier relief. It＇s the most important topographic factor displayed particularly in topographic mapping. In the past, it＇s generally considered that the esker is only developed in continental glacier area; it＇s made up of sand that＇s carried by the ice water in glacial tunnel.This paper discusses whether the esker is in existence in mountain glacier and the author analyses its cause of formation and composition. It＇s based on the field survey and aerial photography images. In the end, the author puts forward a widely- new conclusion that the esker is also in existence in mountain glacier. And it＇s different from the esker in continental glacier, for example it＇s distributive geographic location, the cause of formation, composition, etc. The conclusion is new thinking for the study of the esker.
