和谐社会是指民主法治、公平正义、人与自然和谐相处的社会。工会在参与构建和谐社会中必须正确处理和协调社会关系,必须要处理好和谐与稳定的关系,关键是要协调好职工与企业之间的利益关系。构建社会主义和谐社会,要坚持以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,树立和落实科学发展观,维护和实现社会公平。在构建社会主义和谐社会中,必须依法维护职工的合法权益,履行工会维权职能,加强工会维权机制建设,形成大维护格局,使工会在社会主义现代化建设和推进改革与发展进程中发挥更加重要的作用。

The harmonious society represents the society which is full of the democratic legal administration,equality and justice,the balance coexistence between the human people and the nature. The trade union must correctly deal with and coordinate the social relations in the process of constructing the harmonious society, and the trade union must treat with the relations between the harmoniousness and the stability, the key factor which the trade union must take into consideration is to well coordinate the beneficial relations between the wide workers and the enterprises. For constructing the socialist harmonious society, the trade union should persist in DENG Xiaoping Theory and ＂Three Representative＂ important thought as the guidance and build up and carry out the sense of the scientific development and maintain and realize the social fairness. In the process of constructing the socialist society, we must maintain the lawful rights and interests of the wide workers by operation of law, and then we should perform the right - maintaining function of the trade union, and strengthen the construction of the right - maintaining mechanism of the trade union so as to form the great maintenance situation or structure, and in this way, it enables the trade union to bring the more important function into full play in the process of the socialist modernization construction and pushing the reform and development forward.
