A Brief Analysis on the Artistic Achievement of Descriptive-ci by Li Qingzhao

以诗咏物是我国古代诗歌的传统表现手法,李清照的咏物词,在咏物词发展的历史进程中,为咏物词走向成熟和高度繁荣做出了不可磨灭的贡献。具体来说,李清照咏物词的艺术成就主要体现在以下几方面:移情于物,以物寓人,借物托情;用典自然无痕,雅中显清;铺叙咏物,不即不离;结句住而未住,尽而不尽。

Describing objects with the poetry form is a traditional way of expression in Chinese ancient poems. The descriptive-ci poetry by Li Qingzhao made great contributions to the maturity and prosperity in the development of descriptive-ci poetry. Specifically, the artistic achievement of Li Qingzhao can be seen in the following aspects：embodying the author＇s emotion in some particular objects; natural use of allusions to show the elegance; proper arrangement of elaboration and chanting; and the unique ending which leaves room for reflection.
