Syntactical Features of Black English Vernacular

黑人英语是美国英语中分布最广、最为人们所熟悉的少数族裔变体语言。从语言学上来说,当代美国黑人英语与白人英语的最大区别是在于语法结构上,如系动词“be”的使用模式,复数形式的差异,动词时态的特殊用法,双重否定或多重否定形式等。从黑人英语的句法结构中我们可以看出黑人英语的特点及其与美国标准英语的差异。

In American English,Black English vernacular is the most widely spread language among the most familiar minority languages.From the perspective of linguistics,the distinctive between modern Black English Vernacular and standard English lies in syntactical structures,such as the usage of verb “be”、 different plural forms、the special use of tenses,the forms of double negative and multiple negatives,etc.From analyzing the syntactical features of Black English Vernacular we can find out the differences between Black English vernacular and Standard English.
