论传统文化视野中的余任天

Yu Rentian in Traditional Culture

余任天是值得研究的,这不仅因为他淡泊宁静的文化心态,致力个人风格与浙派绘画风格有机结合的勇气,而且于诗书画印通会实践中所达到的高度。对艺术家的个案考察,由人及艺也好,由艺及人也罢,总离不开生长于斯、成就于斯的民族、地域文化土壤,离不开艺术家的生存状态及所处的时代背景。本文试图通过对余任天文化品性及艺术底蕴的认知,发掘其作为一位本色的、有遗憾的艺术家的个性魅力,想来于浮躁、功利的当下不无启示。

Yu Rentian is worthy of research not only for his indifference to fame and fortune, courage of combining personal style with that of Zhe school, but also for his achievement in poetry, painting, calligraphy and seals. The research on an artist cannot break away from his nation, folk culture and background of the time. By an understanding of his cultural disposition and artistic connotation, the paper studies Yu＇s personal charm as an artist with distinctive character and regret, and tries to provide inspirations for the time.
