The relationship between the homocysteine in blood plasma and vascular dementia

摘要 目的研究同型半胱氨酸(HCY)在血管性痴呆(VD)中的作用。方法对54例VD和50例非痴呆脑卒中患者的血浆HCY测定,多普勒超声(TCD)检测颅内动脉血流速度、磁共振脑血管造影(MRA)检查脑内血管狭窄,比较2组的HCY的水平、动脉的平均血流速度和血管狭窄的发生率及程度。结果HCY水平、血管狭窄的发生率及程度在VD组较非VD组显著增高(P〈0.05)。而血流速度VD组较非VD组显著减慢(P〈0.05),在VD组中,HCY水平与痴呆程度显正相关。结论HCY水平、脑动脉硬化、狭窄的程度与VD的发生密切相关,可作为预测及评价VD的重要敏感指标之一。 Objective To investigate the relationship between the homocysteine (HCY) in blood plasma and vascular dementia (VD). Methods The index of homocysteine of 54 stroke patients with vascular dementia and 52 patients with normal intelligence was measured. The velocity of cerebral blood flow was accessed by TCD and the state of cerebrovascular was evaluated by MRA. Then these indexes of vascular dementia patients were compared with those of the control. Results The homocysteine level , the occurrence and degree of arteriostenosis were significantly higher in VD patients than in the control patients ( P 〈 0.05 ), and the velocity of cerebral blood flow in VD patients was significantly slower than that in control patients( P 〈0. 05). There was a significant correlation between HCY and VD. Condusion Hyperhomocysteine, arteriosclerosis and arteriostenosis may play important roles in vascular dementia, and these indexes can be used to predict and assess vascular dementia in stroke patients.
