Standing on the square in front of the Potala Palace and raising your head to lood at the clear sky full of brilliant sunshine, you will see a fairy world. The Jokhang Monastery is the spiritual holy ground of Tibet： the sacred place to which the Tibetan people commit their souls and faith. In October 2005, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, which is called a ＂Heaven Road,＂ was opened to traffic, thus ending Tiber＇s history without a railway and adding power and charm for Tibet＇s economic development.
