On October 21, porcelain insulators of 420-kN dual- skirt and three-skirt as well as that of 550-kN common disc suspension autonomously developed by Dalian Electric Porcelain Co., Ltd. were appraised by an expert commission organized by China Electricity Council. They are applicable to UHVAC transmission line. The experts held that their main technical parameters and performance indexes come up to the advanced world standards. The 420-kN dual-skirt and three-skirt products filled a gap both at home and abroad. The 550-kN product filled a gap at home.
