中外高校董事会制度的地位与作用探究

A Discussion about the Role and Function of Board of Trustees in the Chinese and Foreign Colleges

本文从历史的视野,审视并探究了中外高校董事会制度的作用。在对国外高校董事会起源、成因及作用分析的基础上,指出高校董事会制度是现代大学职能对外延伸的桥梁,是筹集办学资金的有力渠道,有利于办学自主权的发挥;进而提出当前我国高校应建立具有中国特色的高校董事会制度,并从实践层面提出了对策和建议。

In view of the history, this paper examines closely and probe into the function ot board system in the Chinese and foreign colleges and universities. By analyzing the origin, causes, and the function of foreign board of trustees, it points out that the system of the board of trustees should bridge between the society and the modern universities. It should be the forceful channel to raise money of running universities so that it will help to bring into full play the decision-making power of running universities. It also advances that the board of trustees system with Chinese features should be established at present, and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures based on practice.
