虚拟现实是一种可以创建和体验虚拟世界的计算机系统,虚拟现实技术已广泛应用于航空航天、建筑设计、军事教育、技能训练等许多领域。本文介绍了虚拟现实技术的产生背景、概念、特性、关键技术、应用以及未来,重点阐述了其在军事领域的应用。虚拟现实技术作为新的教学媒体,它的应用将对军事教育训练改革产生深远影响。
Virtual reality is a kind of computer system, with which we can establish and experience the virtual world. Virtual reality technology has been widely applied in aerospace, architectural design, military education, technical ability training, and so on. This paper has described the background, concept, characteristic, key technology, application and future of the virtual reality technology. Besides, the application of the virtual reality technology in the field of military has been mainly discussed. Virtual reality technology, as a new teaching media, its application will undoubtedly have a far reaching impact on the reforming of military education and training.
