This paper briefly reviewed the principle of separation and detection on ion chromatography and its applications in analysis of drugs and synthetical intermediates, identify a component in complex compounds, valence state and morphology of drug ion in recent years, offering reference for further application of ion chromatography in the pharmaceutical analysis field.
