从四部作品来解读托尼.莫里森种族意识的成熟过程,从而了解黑人在顽强坚持本位文化时的困境以及种种艰辛的尝试。托尼.莫里森是荣获1993年诺贝尔文学奖的美国黑人女作家,她的作品一贯关注黑人(尤其是黑人女性)这一社会主题以及这一特殊群体在黑白两种对立文化冲突中的挣扎过程。

The maturation process of Toni Morrison＇s racial awareness is analyzed from four novels of her, to contribute to understand the predicament the black in while adhering to standard culture and all sorts of hard attempts they took. Toni Morrison is the winner of Nobel Prize for literature in 1993 who is an Afro-American authoress. Her works always pay close attention to the social theme of the black person （especially black women）, and the struggle course of this special colony in two kinds of antithesis cultural conflict.
