摘要
Ethics and morals in this era are permeated with Emotivism. No matter what it is praised or censured , it deserves our attention. The significance of Emotivism is demonstrated in conflicts with Utilitarianism and Rationalism. It criticizes the tendency of Utilitarianism, insists the free choices of values by individual, protects multi-values and advocates tolerances in morals. Emotivism has been criticized for its separation of fact and value, but what it describes is the real picture of modern life. Nevertheless, we have to face the situation that value already lost the backup of fact. We should look for reasonable norm of moral instead of looking for new fact in order to protect moral pluralism and tolerance.
