摘要
新型评价手段以其多种优点吸引了外语教学界的研究者和教师们。本研究以准实验的形式,将新型评价用于某大学英语教学情境,试图解释在具体的教学情境中实施新型评价是否利于提高教学效果,可能会存在哪些问题。实验结果显示。这一评价体系有利于促进学生学习自主能力和自我效能感的提高,但在学生总体英语水平方面没有明显的促进效果,评价和教龄之间存在交互作用,新型评价的实施受教师个体因素、课程制度、学校改革等环境因素的制约。在该情境中,新型评价文化的建立还需要更有效的教师培训和来自教学环境的支持。
New forms of assessment attract researchers and teachers in EFL field with its various advantages. This study attempts to implement them in a context of College English teaching in order to see if they can promote teaching and learning and what can be the possible problems. The result shows that the implementation can promote learner autonomy and self-efficacy, but does not show an advantage in raising their overall English level. There is an interaction effect between assessment and teacher experience. Teacher factors,curriculum arrangements and the school reform climate inhibitad the practice. We hold that in this context new assessment culture is to be built with more efficient teacher training and more supportive teaching environment.
