ICMP协议的缺陷常常被攻击者用来进行网络DoS攻击。论文探讨了利用ICMP缺陷进行DoS攻击的机理,模拟了利用ICMP缺陷实施DoS攻击及其拦截,并由此提出了一些防范此类攻击的措施。

As the development of network technology and the widespread use of the Internet, the incidents of network security are on the increase every year. Hackers and computer viruses have become two types of hazards to network security.ICMP is often used to attack of network. In this paper, mechanism of DoS attack by ICMP＇ defect is discussed, DoS attack by ICMP＇ defect and its intercept are simulated so that acquire some good methods against the attack.
