西方农区地理学理论研究评述

THE NEW DEVELOPMENTS OF RURAL GEOGRAPHY IN THE WESTERN WORLD

文章评述了近年来西方农区地理学研究的新动向。在研究内容上,农业地理、农村社区和农户三个侧面均有一些新的特点。同时出现了社会文化视角、政治经济视角、全球化视角和农村管治等新的视角来审视农区问题。农区地理学在农业区位论、农区变化特点和行动者网络理论方面存在着较多争论。中国农区地理学应针对中国的特殊问题,在研究内容、研究视角、研究观点等方面突出创新,从而为中国实际和国际相关理论做出贡献。

This paper introduces the new research trends of rural geography in the Western World. In recent years, some new characteristics have arisen in the studies on three aspects, that is, agricultural geography, geographies of the rural community and the rural household. Many new approaches, such as social and cultural, political economy, global views and rural regulations, are used to reexamine the rural problems. Meanwhile, some academic debates have been intensely feoused on agricultural location theory, rural changes and actor- network theory （ANT）. It is crucial for Chinese rural geographers to have an innovative mind on re,arch content, analytical perspectives and study viewpoints to aim at building China＇s specific rural geography.
