Respiratory Tract Nosocomial Infection in PICU: Analysis and Prevention

目的探讨儿科重症监护病房(PICU)呼吸道医院感染的原因和预防措施。方法对2005年1-12月PICU气管插管痰培养和胸片结果阳性患儿的临床资料进行回顾性研究。结果下呼吸道痰标本8例阳性,11张胸片结果提示肺内炎症。结论了解PICU机械通气患儿下呼吸道感染的原因,加强培训、严格执行预防医院感染的措施、加强监测等是预防PICU医院感染的主要措施。

OBJECTIVE To investigate the cause and preventive measurement for respiratory tract nosocomial infection in pediatric ICU （PICU）. METHODS Prospective studies were conducted on the basis of clinic data with the positive result in sputum culture and X-ray report sheet from Jan to Dec 2005. RESULTS Eight sputum specimens of lower respiratory tract were positive. Eleven X-ray report sheets showed infection in lungs. CONCLUSIONS To explore the cause of infection in lower respiratory tract with mechanical ventilation, to strengthen training, strictly obey the rules of preventing nosocomial infection, and strengthen the surveillance etc are the main measurements to prevent nosocomial infection in PICU.
