We tend to clarify and emphasize the positive and innovative development of modem acupuncture medical appliances. We always insisted on the traditional Chinese medicine academical theory without any scepticism. We review the evolution of acupuncture implements and the general process of the formation and development of modem acupuncture medical appliances. Following the pace of the social and historical development and the progresses made in science and technology, new advanced technology has always been infiltrating in medical fields,we put forward that innovative development and inventive study of acupuncture medical appliance is an extremely urgent task.
