In the present paper we describe a simple method for observating DNA molecules under the transmission electron microscope. The advantages of this method does not involve com-plicated manipulation, special chemicals and instruments. In DNA spreading samples, the use of cytochrom C and other spreaders has been avoided. It is possible to complete the prepara-tion of sample in thirty minutes. This method is particularly suitable for measuring the length of DNA molecules or segments and may also be applied to other cytological investigations.
