Through technological collection and investigation of double wheels trench cutter in practical engineering cases of several projects as hydro project, highway and subway in our country, the author illustrates the equipment＇s construction principle, construction characters, advantages and disadvantages, economical comparison with traditional construction technology and its main technological elements. It points out the double wheels trench cutter must be applied widly.
