图像的局部自相似性用于边缘检测的方法研究

A Study on Edge Detection Based on Local Image Self Similarity

定义了一种局部图像自相似性测度．根据图像在边缘点处具有较好的局部自相似性这一特点，提出了基于局部图像自相似性的边缘检测新方法．实验结果表明，这种方法可以有效地提取图像边缘。

A kind of local image self similarity measure is defined. It is proved that under this measure, ideal edge blocks possess very good local self similarities. According to this feature, a novel edge detecting method based on local image self similarity is proposed. Experimental results show that edges with or without noise can be satisfactorily detected.
