The Shift of Social Values Since the Beginning of Reform and Opening up of China

改革开放以来,中国社会价值观的变迁是一种价值观范型的转换,即从以伦理道德及其理想人格为中心的价值观,向以人为本的价值观的转换。这一价值观范型的转换在总体上是一种历史的进步,但也存在着一些亟待解决的问题。加强和改进社会价值观的建设,促进以人为本的价值观的合理建构并使之成为真正具有权威性、范导力的社会主流价值观,是当代中国文化建设的重大课题。

The change of Chinese social values has been a paradigm shift, from ethics and ideal personality to humanity as a central value since the beginning of reform and opening up. This conversion is a progress of historical development but some issues remain to be treated seriously. So strengthening and improving the social values construction is a great task that will involve promoting the rational values building and enabling them to become really authoritative and inducing mainstream social values to contemporary Chinese culture.
