On Educational Administration as a Social Science

教育管理学的学科性质是一个颇存争议的基本理论问题。将教育管理学视为社会科学,既有相当深厚的历史缘由,也有很强说服力的本土依据和国际依据。意涵变化中的社会科学对教育管理学的建设和发展产生了并仍将产生重大影响。作为一门成熟的社会科学的教育管理学,其发展历程主要表现为三个阶段:教育管理学开始大踏步地迈向以逻辑实证论、逻辑经验论为理论基石的社会科学阶段;教育管理学在观点纷呈的社会科学研究背景下开始走向范式多元阶段;教育管理学在走向开放、温和、综合的社会科学的影响下,进入创建新型的“大教育管理学”阶段。

As a fundamental theoretical issue, the disciplinary attribution of educational administration has caused much discussion. This paper argues that educational administration should be classified into social sciences. The meaning＇s change of social sciences and its influence on educational administration are analyzed. And the various changes educational administration should make to respond to the transformation of social sciences are also discussed.
