Post-Processing for Resolution Improvement of the MUSIC Algorithm

本文在MUSIC空间谱估计的基础上,提出了一种改善算法。该算法不直接用估计的噪声子空间来计算空间谱,而是对它再处理,使其扰动减小,提高了阵列处理的空间分辨率。计算机模拟表明,新方法能使空间谱估计得到显著改善。

This paper presents a new algorithm for the high-resolution estimation of arrival angles of narrowband plane waves. In the algorithm, a post-processing technique is used to decrease the perturbation caused by noises. The post-processing of the noise subspace includes constructing a matrix composed of the elements of the vectors which are in the noise subs-pace and replacing the matrix by its reducing rank approximation. The simulation results have shown the effectiveness of the algorithm.
