摘要
遗传性视网膜色素变性(RP)是成人遗传性致盲眼病中最常见的疾病。到目前为止,这种疾病还没有有效的治疗方法。RP动物模型分为自然动物模型及人工造模,它们又分别包括不同的动物及种类,每种都有其不同的特点。探索RP的治疗方法需要合适的动物模型。就RP动物模型的种类及机制做一综述。
Retinitis pigmentosa is the most common cause in adults hereditary disorders leading to blindness. There are currently many experimental researches in effort to develop an effective therapy for retinitis pigmentosa. Thus, an appropriate animal model is necessary for the progression in relevant experiments. Two types of animal models are offered, that is natural and artificial ones, and each also include different animals and types. Variant retinitis pigmentosa phenotypes have been found in nature type in mouse, rat, dog, cat, ect. , in which mouse and rat are earliest utilized as animal models of retinitis pigmentosa, whose pathologic process and phenotypes have been thoroughly investigated. Transgenic animals and chemical drugs are also applied in attempts to find more feasible animal models. Owing of the relatively large volume of eye, transgenic pigs are thought to be very good retinitis pigmentosa models during operation on the eyes. With respect to the chemical drugs, NaIO3 is most frequently used in ophthalmology. In addition,light with different wavelengths is also used to induce the damage of different ocular tissue. Characteristics and pathology of different animal models are overviewed.
