2006 was a significant year for Chongqing HongYan Motor Co., Ltd. Truck sales reached 18,000 units with 40% growth compared to that of 2005 and; joint-ven- ture negotiations with both SAIC and Iveco progressed to substan- tial stages. With new capital in- vestment and the adoption of the latest know-how, the company announced its new business plan at its 2007 Business Conference, and is expecting even greater achievement in the coming year.
