The Patriarchal Characteristics of the Funeral Arrangements and Sacrificial Rites of the Nomadic in Ancient Northern China

我国西北古代少数民族事死如事生的丧葬礼俗和寓于多神信仰中的祖先崇拜,以及顺天应命的天命观,均反映了一定的宗法特征。

This paper puts forward that the funeral and sacrificial rites of the nomadic in ancient northern China which treat the dead as the live, and their polytheism contain ancestor worship, and their fate sense which conform to the course of nature are reflex of some patriarchal cultural characteristics.
