从村屯到城市——李景汉北京郊区调查80年回访

From the Village to the City——A Return Visit paying to Beijing Suburb in the 80th Anniversary of Li Jing-han's Survey

1926年,著名社会学家李景汉先生在京郊挂甲屯等村进行实地调查研究,1929年出版了《北平郊外之乡村家庭》一书,为我们留下了十分难得的社会标本。80年后,笔者对挂甲屯进行回访。挂甲屯作为北京郊区变迁的一个缩影,在某种程度上反映了自19世纪以来中国由农业社会向工业社会过渡时期社区类型的变化。在北京市的快速发展和全国城市化过程中,挂甲屯的变迁具有一定的代表性意义,对于更好地理解中国社会的变迁历程及进行比较研究具有重要的参考价值。

In 1926, Li Jing-han, a famous sociologist, made on-spot survey in Guajiatun village in the suburb of Beijing. Later, he published the book, The Village Families in the Suburb ofBeiping, presenting us a rare social sample. Guajiatun, as an epitome of Beijing suburban change, reflected China community change from agricultural society to industrial society since late 19th century and early 20th century. It is also a typical village in the process of rapid growth and urbanization of Beijing, offering an important reference value for better understanding of Chinese society transformation and for comparative studies.
