农业高校在社会主义新农村建设中的作用机制探析

A DISCUSSION OF THE MECHANISM OF ACTION OF AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW SOCIALIST COUNTRYSIDE

建设社会主义新农村是党的十六届五全会提出的重大历史任务,是落实科学发展观、深化农村改革、推进“三农”工作的重大举措。农业高校与“三农”有着重要的历史渊源,作为农业科技创新和成果推广的重要源头,农业高校应进一步拓宽对社会主义新农村建设的作用机制,充分发挥其在新农村建设中的战略作用。

Construction of a new socialist countryside, an important historic task advanced at the 5^th Plenary Session of the 16^th Central Committee of CPC, is a significant strategic measure adopted to practice the outlook of scientific development, deepen the reform in the rural area and boost the work in tackling the issues concerning agricuhure, countryside and farmers. As the headstream of innovation in science and technology and extension of its achievements in agriculture, agricultural universities and colleges are closely related to those three major issues. Therefore, they should broaden their mechanism in the construction of the new socialist countryside and bring their strategic function into full play.
