The article first puts forward an approximating hypothesis of arc on the rectified meniscus camber of color picture tube from actual conditions, it then sums up the experimental calculating formulae of meniscus camber in accordance with the operating principles of meniscus and advances calculation procedures and design methods of rectified meniscus. In the meantime, it also puts forward the amending formulae of the calculation and the amending methods.
