本文分析圣经《新约全书附诗篇》(1912年)的音系,归纳出一百年前的莆田话声、韵、调系统,指出其音系基础是当时莆田话,并通过和今莆田话的共时音系相比较,指出一百年间莆田话经历的演变。

This paper analyzes a Chinese version of The New Testament and Psalms translated in 1912,summarizes its syllabary,and compares it with the phonology of the Putian dialect today,arguing that the Putian dialect is the phonological basis of the translated work.It also discusses the evolution of the Putian dialect over the past century.
