Dual Identity Crisis of Developing Countries

理性主义占主导地位的国际关系理论一直忽视认同问题,晚近兴起的建构主义主要从国际层面分析国家认同的形成与变化,对国内层面的国家认同甚少涉及。由于国家发展不充分和国际社会中认同霸权的存在,许多发展中国家正经历着双重的认同危机。这些国家必须争取时间在发展中获得所需的内外认同,即用发展的手段来解决前进中的问题。

The IR theories dominated by rationalism have long neglected the issue of national identity, and social constructivism in analyzing the formation and changes of national identity mainly concentrates on the international level. As a result of the underdevelopment of the state and identity hegemony in international community, many developing countries are suffering from dual crisis of identity. They need enough time to build internal identity and to get external one. Only by means of development could they succeed.
