摘要
目前,汽车外形设计采用传统油泥模型制作和计算机辅助设计相结合的方式进行。本文指出了两种方法的优缺点,介绍了一种新的虚拟油泥造型方法。重点对虚拟油泥造型工具进行了分类,研究了虚拟油泥造型工具建模方法,开发了虚拟油泥造型工具编辑器。该编辑器在虚拟油泥造型系统中得到了应用并取得了很好的效果。
Traditionally, clay modeling and CAS methods are used in the automobile design. The advantages and disadvantages of the both methods were described and a new method of virtual clay modeling was introduced. The classification was implemented on virtual clay modeling tool, the tool modeling method was studied, and a tool editor was exploded. This tool design method was applied to virtual clay modeling with excellent effect.
