摘要
本文设计了一种基于MPEG-4硬件压缩芯片IME6400的嵌入式视频传输系统。该系统通过摄像头采集视频数据,采用可编程视频采集芯片SAA7114对视频信号进行A/D转换,采用IME6400对视频数据进行编码压缩,最后通过网络发送到客户端。本文具体介绍了IME6400-S3C2410和SAA7114的接口设计,还介绍了IME6400的firmware的数据编码接收的具体实现方式。
The paper design a embedded image transmission system based on the MPEG-4 hardware compressing chip IME6400. The system catches the video image through the camera and use the programmable image chip SAA7114 to transfer the video image from analog to digital. Then the system use the IME6400 to compress the video image. At the end. the video image be transmitted to the custom by Internet. The paper introduce the design of interlace of the IME6400 to S3C2410 and SAA7114.The paper also introduce the data receiving manner of firmware of IME6400.
