社会伦理转型的核心问题是道德主体的转变。迄今为止,人类社会经历了三种伦理主体虚幻的神、群体主体和个体主体。与之相应,道德教育的伦理范式也经历了三种变化。当前,中国的社会伦理正处于转变过程中。正是这一转变,使中国学校道德教育不得不放弃灌输不可质疑的、外在既定道德观念的做法,转向尊重学生道德判断权利,引导学生自主生成道德观念。
