摘要
采用偏光显微镜(PLM)、差示扫描量热仪(DSC)、广角X射线衍射仪(WAXD)等研究了一种稀土类β成核剂WBG对等规聚丙烯(iPP)性能的影响。结果表明,加入WBG可诱导PP中β晶型的生成。当WBG加入量为0.2%时,β晶型的含量可达57%。加入少量WBG,均聚聚丙烯悬臂梁冲击强度提高1.48倍,热变形温度提高11-31℃。在制品成型过程中,较慢的冷却速率有利于β晶的生成和完善。制品成型后,后期热处理有利于试样综合性能进一步提高,最佳处理温度为100℃。PLM发现了一种新现象:中心β晶呈树叶状生长,当晶体长到一定尺寸后,中心外缘附生β球晶,β球晶之间形成比纯PP小且不规则的界面,部分中心β晶相互贯穿。
Effect of a rare earth β-nucleating agent(WBG)on the properties of isotactic polypropylene (iPP) was studied by polarizing microscope(PLM), differential scanning calorimetry(IX S C), and wideangular X-ray diffraction(WAXD). The results showed that the addition of small amounts of WBG to PP induced the proportion of β crystals. The relative content of β-phase was up to 57 % in a PP containing 0.2 96 of the WBG. The Izod impact strength of homopolymerization PP was increased 1.48 times, and heat deflection temperature rose 11 -- 33 ℃, when small amounts of WI3G was added. The samples showed the optimal properties when the heat treatment at 100 ℃. A slow cooling rate benefited the formation and perfect of β crystals. The photos of PLM showed a new phenomenon that β crystals grew up with leaflike form in the center and covered with β-spherulites which formed some small and anomalistic interface , some central β crystals impenetrate each other.
