The techniques related to the production of diaphragm caustic soda are introduced： It is pointed out that the production of diaphragm caustic soda should, be combined with that of ion - exchange membrane caustic soda, and that new technology should be developed further to reduce the differences of ion- exchange membrane process and diaghragm process.
