Development of Embedded Database Application Based on Windows CE 3.0

介绍W indows CE 3.0平台下开发嵌入式数据库应用的基本方法。阐述了eVB开发环境及与VB开发环境的差异、W indows CE平台下的数据存储格式、ADO与ADOCE的异同点以及应用程序软件在掌上电脑的安装发布方法。在此基础上介绍了Pocket-Access数据库应用程序的开发方法,最后对嵌入式数据库的应用进行了展望。

The basic methods for developing embedded database application based on Windows CE 3.0 are introduced in this paper. The development environment eVB and date storing structure in the Windows CE are also described. Not only the similarity and dissimilarity between eVB and VB are discussed, but also the similarity and dissimilarity between ADO and ADOCE are analyzed. Then the development procedure of a Pocket-Access database application is provided. In the end, the prospects of the embedded database application are given.
