Statistics of industrial accidents in China during the period from November to December in 2006

统计了2006年11—12月国内发生的各种安全事故284起,包括矿业事故、交通事故、爆炸事故、火灾、毒物泄露和中毒及其他事故。统计表明,在这些事故中,交通事故最多,占49.65%,其次是矿业事故(22.89%)、爆炸事故(10.21%)、其他事故(10.21%)、毒物泄露和中毒(3.52%)、火灾(3.52%)。284起事故共死亡1124人,伤835人,死亡人数的百分比分别为交通事故41.81%、矿业事故35.41%、其他事故7.74%、爆炸事故7.47%、火灾4.63%、泄露中毒2.94%;受伤人数的百分比分别为交通事故62.75%、矿业事故13.53%、爆炸事故11.86%、其他事故8.38%、火灾2.40%、泄露中毒1.08%。

The present paper reports the statistical data and analysis of industrial accidents in China during the period from November to December in 2006. There are 284 accidents in total, which can be summarized and classified into six categories： mining industry, traffic, explosion, leakage and poisoning, fire, and the others. Of all the 284 accidents, the percentages of the six categories can be illustrated according to their frequency order 22.89%, 49.65%, 10.21%, 3.52%, 3.52%, and 10.21% respectively. Tbe total casualty is 1 124 and the percentages for the six categories are 35.41%, 41.81%, 7.47%, 2.94%, 4.63%, and 7.74% respectively, The number of the wounded is 835 and the percentages for the six categories are 13.53%, 62.75%, 11.86%, 1.08%, 2,40%, and 8.38% respectively. The analyses of the statistics show that the top five provinces and cities with the highest accident number are ： Guizhou（29 accidents）, Sichuan（27）, Zhejiang（25）, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region （ 18）, and Yunnan （16）. The top five provinces and eities with the largest casuahy number are： Shanxi（125 dead）, Guizhou（101）, Siehuan（91）, Yunnan（89）, and Hunan （76）. And the top five provinces and cities with the biggest wounded number are： Guizhou（106 wounded）, Yunnan（79）, Zhejiang（79）, Sichuan（69）, and Heilongjiang（55）.
