汉日两语中英源外来语的对比研究——以外来语对源词的忠实度为中心

A Contrastive Study of the English Loan Words in Chinese and Japanese in Terms of Faithfulness to Source Words

英语为汉语和日语提供了大量外来语。在分别考察汉语和日语中的英源外来语的基础上,通过汉日对比分析,从发音、词义、词性以及复合方式等角度描述了汉日两语中英源外来语在对源词忠实度方面的差异,认为此差异植根于中日民族性格差异和语言借用经验差异,并且为汉语和日语今后的英语词汇借用提供了一些参考意见。

English has supplied a large quantity of loan words to Chinese and Japanese. On the basis of examining the English loan words used in the two languages and by way of comparing and contrasting them two, the present paper displays the differences of the English loan words in Chinese and in Japanese in terms of the different degrees of faithfulness to their corresponding source words in pronunciation, meaning, function and collocation. And the author further points out that these differences originate from the differences in their national traits and language borrowing experiences and finally offers some suggestions for borrowing English words in Chinese and Japanese in the future.
