摘要
提出一种通过一次氧化,两次酯化(氧化酯化法)的方法合成双酯类化合物。以对羟基苯甲醛和4-正丙基,4-正戊基取代的双环己基甲酸、联苯甲酸及环己基苯甲酸为主要原料,合成了四种未见文献报道的具有较长的刚性骨架、多环双酯基苯甲醛类液晶。其结构经IR,MS,1H NMR和元素分析表征,通过DSC及偏光显微镜研究了化合物的液晶行为。结果表明,合成产物总产率大于60%,其液晶相温度范围超过140℃,主要呈现向列相织构。
A new method of oxidizing and esterifying was designed to synthesize compounds with double esters. Using this method, four new liquid crystal compounds of multi - ring diester aryl aldehydes were synthesized with a series of acids of double rings sub- stituted by n - propyl, n - pentyl with p - hydroxyl benzaldehdye as reactants. They have longer rigid group. Their structures were identified using IR, MS, IH NMR and elemental analysis. DSC and POM (Polarizing Optical Microscope) measurement showed their behavior of mesophase. The total yields were above 60%. The mesogenie ranges of resulting compounds were wider than 140℃ and nematic textures were found by POM.
