Improving the Mechanism of Urban Basic Surveying and Mapping and Promote its Sustainable Development

基础测绘是国民经济和社会发展的一项长期的基础性、战略性工作。在政府主导下,建立稳定的工作机制是基础测绘持续发展的需要。本文回顾了武汉市“十五”期间基础测绘工作,介绍了《武汉市基础测绘“十一五”规划》的编制及政府立项的过程,分析了建立城市基础测绘"武汉模式"的经验。

Basic Surveying and Mapping is a long - term fundamental and strategic task for national economic and social development. Initiated and guided by the government, setting up a cant for the sustainable development of basic surveying and steady working mechanism is extremely signifimapping. This paper first reviewed the completion of basic surveying and mapping during the lOth Five -Year Plan period. Next the llth Five -Year Plan of Urban Basic Surveying and Mapping for Wuhan City was introduced and so was the process of project planning and establishment. Finally, the paper concluded by analyzing the experiences from the operational mode of urban basic surveying and mapping of Wuhan city.
