世界的系统化是由概念完成的。空间隐喻作为隐喻学中的一个重要概念,可以对世界的概念进行完整的系统的组织建构。本文主要探讨了英汉空间隐喻表达的相似性,并列举了一些典型的实例,通过例子的分析,揭示了英汉文化的相似之处。了解这些相似点对于理解英汉空间隐喻,建构概念系统有着积极的作用。
the world＇s systemization is achieved in the help of a series of concepts. Orientational metaphor, as an important concept in the field of metaphor, can fully and systematically organize and construct these concepts. This paper mainly focuses on the discussion of the different orientational metaphors in English and Chinese. Meanwhile, some practical examples are given, through which the similarities of English and Chinese culture come out. It is quite useful to understand these matters when referring.to orientational metaphors and organizing other concepts.
