Social Capital and Its Function in Ethnic Relations

文章用社会资本理论来研究、分析民族关系的调适。民族关系调适的视角有很多,主要集中在制度、体制、政策等方面,这些研究视角很重要,但还不够全面,因为它们忽视了民族关系调适中“无形”因素的研究,诸如信任、互惠规范、社会关系网络等,这些因素正是社会资本。文章就是寻求社会资本理论与民族关系调适的结合,为民族关系调适提供一个新的视角。

This paper analyzes the adjustment of ethnic relations in light of social capital theory. The adjustment of ethnic relations are mainly studied in terms of institutions, systems and policies, which are not sufficient because these perspectives overlook the study of such invisible factors as trust, reciprocal norms, and social relation network. These factors are exactly social capital. This paper explores an interface between social capital and ethnic relations so as to offer a new perspective for the adjustment of ethnic relations.
