努力做好“三个服务” 推进交通事业又好又快发展——李盛霖部长在2007年全国交通工作会议上讲话摘要

2007年全国交通工作会议是在深入贯彻落实科学发展观、积极推进社会主义和谐社会建设的新形势下召开的。党中央，国务院高度重视和关心支持交通工作。会前，中央政治局常委、国务院副总理黄菊，中央政治局委员、国务院副总理曾培炎分别听取了交通工作情况汇报并作了重要指示，充分肯定了2006年交通工作取得的成绩，对做好2007年交通工作提出了明确要求，我们要认真贯彻落实。

At the national communications work meeting in 2007, Minister of Communications Li Shenglin put for- ward Three Services concept which is different from the traditional idea, i.e., our communications should serve the national economy and overall social development, should serve the socialist new construction of agriculture, and should serve the people’s safe and convenient travel. The concept will become the main idea of road communica- tions in 2007.
