985名学龄前儿童龋病的调查

Survey on dental caries and oral health behaviour in 985 preschool children in Hefei

目的调查学龄前儿童龋病的发病情况,以促进防治工作。方法通过问卷调查方式收集资料。结果985名受检学龄前儿童中564名患有龋病,患龋率为57.26%,均有不良卫生习惯。结论学龄前儿童龋病的主要病因是多样的,要早期预防。

Objective To describe the occurrence of dental caries in preschool children and evaluate their pattern of oral health behaviours, in order to provide information for systematic implementation of preventive oral care. Method Data were collected by clinical examinations and use of self-administered questionnaires on oral health behaviour, knowledge, and attitudes. Results 564 in the 985 preschool children suffered from dental caries, incidence of caries was 57.26%. Results of survey showed that dental care habits of these children were poor. Conclusion The results suggests that systematic oral health promotion programmes for preschool children are urgently needed.
