MARC的转换研究伴随着MARC产生和发展的整个过程，随着信息技术、网络技术的不断发展，MARC的转换研究经历了不同的阶段。文章针对我国图书馆自动化和元数据发展应用的各阶段，分析了不同阶段的MARC转换应用研究的目的、作用、特点和转换技术要求等，同时列举了新阶段MARC数据格式到XML文档格式的转换应用实例。文章对我国的MARC转换应用作了系统的回顾研究，以期促进MARC数据的进一步的研究、开发与应用。

The research on MARC transformation Is along with the procedure of MARC＇ s development. With the development of information technology and network. technology, the research of MARC transformation has experienced the different stages. This paper aims at different stages of library automation and application of metadata development in our country. The aim, role, characteristics and demend of MARC transformation in different periods are analyzed. And the example of data transformation from MARC format to XML format in current stages is also list, In order to promote the research, exploitation and application of MARC, this paper systematically reviews and researches the application of MARC transform in China.
