解读西南联大:社会资本的视角

A social capital perspective on Southwest Associated University

在抗日战争的艰难困境中,西南联大取得了非凡的办学业绩。社会资本概念的提出,为阐释西南联大之谜提供了新的视角。西南联大的成功,从内部关系网络视角来看,缘于三校协作无间,倡导教授治校,师生关系密切,学生社团活跃;从外部关系网络视角来看,在于联大不但与云南当地、国内外团体以及校友保持着广泛的联系,而且具有很强的国际性;从非正式制度视角来看,则是由于联大深受中国传统文化中的意识形态影响,具有强烈的爱国主义价值观念和民主创新的习俗惯例。

Although being faced with a lot of difficulties, Southwest Associated University （SWAU） made an outstanding achievement within eight years of anti-Japanese war. The concept of social capital was put forward which has offered a theoretical perspective of how SWAU ran the school. In respect of its interior relation network, SWAU realized good cooperation among the three universities, advocated for professors＇ management of the school, established close relationship between teachers and students, set up some active student organizations. In terms of its exterior relation network, SWAU not only kept a wide contact with local people of Yunnan, domestic and overseas groups and organizations, patriotic overseas Chinese and schoolfellows, but also took on the property of strong internationalization. From the angle of the informal system, deeply influenced by the ideology of the traditional Chinese culture, SWAU strongly valued patriotism and fostered the tradition of worshiping democracy and innovation.
