闵贞不在“扬州八怪”论

On Min Zhen's Deprivation in the List of “Eight Eccentric Painters of Yangzhou”

陈衡恪《中国绘画史》以闵贞列入“扬州八怪”,本文以文献学方法,从地域、时代、交游、文学修养等方面,对陈氏观点提出商榷。

In his book Chinese Painting History, Cben Hengke lists Min Zhen as one member of ＂Eight Eccentric Painters of Yangzhou＂. Applying philology, this paper attempts, from the perspectives of zone, times, experience, literary cultivation and so on, to rebut Mr. Cben＇s view and draws a conclusion that Min Zhen should not be listed in the ＂Eight Eccentric Painters Of Yangzhou＂.
